Welcome to
Homeschool Mom Mentor!
Here you will find meaningful mentorship, simple processes, valuable resources, and a community of like minded homeschool mommas to share with & learn from while receiving encouragement along your homeschool journey. We are made up of mommas new to the homeschool journey, in the middle of it, near the end, and even some veteran homeschool mommas who have finished their journey well, then came back to pour into the next generation of homeschoolers.
Think of us as a modern day "Quilting Circle" where a community of like-minded homeschool moms can connect to give & receive mentorship, resources, answers, & ideas. It is a place where the experienced homeschool Moms who have “been there, done that” can help guide the newer Moms as instructed in Titus 2.
Our mission is to help your family cherish your homeschooling journey so that you can start, stay, and finish strong!
We can help you put the pieces of the homeschooling puzzle together.
Hi, I'm Trish!
Founder of Homeschool Mom Mentor
I am a daughter of The King, wife to my beloved Wes, mother to 3 blessings, grandma to my first grandson, caretaker of my parents, sister to one brother, and friend to many. I am also an Occupational Therapist, Life Coach, Certified Brain Trainer, Certified Health Coach, wellness educator, and business owner but my greatest achievement so far has been homeschooling 4 students for over 22 years.
Now, I am honored to help fellow Christian Homeschool Moms START, STAY, and FINISH STRONG on their own homeschool journeys by providing meaningful mentorship, sharing simple processes, curating valuable resources, and connecting them to a community of like-minded Mommas… without overwhelming them… EVEN if they have NO idea where to begin!
While homeschooling 3 of my own children and a nephew who spoke very little English when he came to live with us, I studied learning styles, personality profiles, parenting styles and teaching techniques to help each child succeed in life. Each had "special needs" in one way or another. From dyslexia & learning challenges to testing at gifted levels, each needed a different parenting approach. I used this specialized knowledge to help not only my own family but other homeschool families too. Now that I have graduated my last student in 2022, I am ready to be a Mentor so that others can have the joy of finishing this race well, looking back and knowing that it was a beautiful life.
